With a deep, youthful, purple colour with a ruby rim it has a classic Merlot nose with juicy plum and mulberry fruit, lifted spiciness and hints of dark chocolate and ink. On the palate there are generous, ripe, pure Merlot fruit flavours with refreshing acidity, structured yet silky tannins and pronounced length and minerality. A top quality varietal wine from one of the icons of South Africa.
