Few drinks in history can claim a past with as much decadence and conflict as that of gin. Gin's humble origins as a medicinal liquor made by monks across Europe evolved rapidly, surviving the Plague, countless wars and colonialists, who would introduce it to Africa, as they arrived on our shores clutching their Juniper elixir to fend off scurvy and malaria. So inspired are we by this stoic alcohol that we crafted our gin after 'lockdown' to remind us of the good times, the better times to come and the friends we all need to help us carry on!
Crafted in the Western Cape (which boasts the world's smallest and richest floral kingdom) the gin range is infused with these distinctive and unique fynbos botanicals. A perfectly rounded floral-driven gin with refreshing undertones of Citrus Peel, Cape Fynbos and Juniper. Top notes of Hibiscus, Rose Geranium and a hint of Buchu give our gin its unique personality and abundance and subtlety of flavour.
