Sugarbird Original Fynbos Gin Mini 40ml
As the name suggests, this flavour is where our humble journey began - the botanical diversity of fynbos, which gives SA gin true expression. Apart from the lovely floral flavour you'd expect from a quality gin, there's a rare, uniquely Sugarbird citrus twang along with a hint of Cape Fynbos, for which Sugarbird is now famous.
Floral, Easy, Citrus, Delicious. The smoothness of this fynbos gin goes superbly with chicken dishes and/or soft white meat. Especially refreshing when served with a pizza or homemade pasta during the long summer evenings.
Inspired by the Cape Sugarbird, Sugarbird's Original Fynbos varietal is floral- driven with notes of hibiscus, buchu and rose geranium. There are undertones of citrus peel and cape fynbos.
It is the perfect balance of floral and citrus in an otherwise classic, dry gin.
This gin now falls into a category that several Cape craft gins have created by inclusion of fynbos - "Cape Dry" - London Dry with a touch of Fynbos.
Ingredients:
Juniper cones, honeybush, buchu (A. betulina), rose geranium, coriander, grapefruit peel, hibiscus, lemon peel, cardamon, angelica root, orange peel and grains of paradise.
