Our Boozy Coconut Shake is made with the ever-so-luxurious Lindt Excellence 70% Cocoa Dark Chocolate and the iconic coconut-charged Malibu Rum.
It hits the sweet spot between a dessert and a nightcap and has a taste rating so good it's destined to shake up your hosting game for good!
Ingredients
Serves 2
For the Homemade Chocolate Sauce:
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ½ cup sugar
- ¼ cup Health Organic Connection Cacao
- ¼ tsp salt
- 200g Lindt 70% Cocoa Dark Chocolate
- ½ cup salted butter
For the Shakes:
- 2 cups coconut milk coconut ice-cream
- 1 cup Taste of Thai Full-Fat Canned Coconut Milk
- ¼ cup Malibu Liqueur
- 1 tsp NOMU Vanilla Essence
- ½ cup Homemade Chocolate Sauce
- ¼ cup toasted coconut flakes
- Whipped cream, to serve
Method
- Add the ice-cream, milk, rum and vanilla essence to a blender and blend until smooth.
- Pour the chocolate sauce into the serving glasses and swirl.
- Pour the milkshake into the glasses.
- Top with a generous dollop of fresh cream, chocolate sauce, and toasted coconut flakes. Enjoy!
