So fresh, so sweet, so tangy, so purrrr for this summer. Say "hola-howzit" to the Leonista Lemonade with South Africa's first 100% Karoo agave spirit to be made the traditional Mexican way. Oh, and some condensed milk. As a treat.
Ingredients
Serves 4
- 3 whole limes, stems removed and washed
- 3 cups water
- Handful of ice
- Half a can of sweetened condensed milk
- 4-6 shots Leonista Reposado Black
Method
- Wash and remove the stems. Cut the limes into quarters and add to a blender with 3 cups of water. Blend for 30 seconds and strain.
- Pour the strained liquid back into the blender and add a handful of ice, half a can of condensed milk, and your tequila. The amount of condensed milk and tequila added depends on your personal preference.
- Blend until the ice is crushed and the liquid is frothy.
- Run a lime wedge along a chilled glass and line with salt or sugar (optional).
- Pour the lemonade over crushed ice and garnish with a lime wheel. Enjoy!
