Graham Beck Pinot Noir Rose Vintage 750ml
This delectable MCC is a unique first for South Africa, in vinification we followed a unique approach whereby the whole bunches, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, were jointly pressed as a blend, in the same press. Only the cuvée fraction (the juice recovered with the least amount of pressure) was used. After fermentation in stainless steel tanks the wine was lightly fined and bottled for secondary fermentation, after which the wine underwent five years of lees contact time before disgorging. This bubbly has a beautiful salmon pink hue, with ripe blueberries and a subtle spiciness from the Pinot Noir and creamy complexity from the Chardonnay. An explosion of raspberry fruit and slight honeysuckle flavours on the palate, with a persistent yet delicate mousse.
