Cinzano Prosecco 750ml.
A crisp Italian sparkling from a 250-year vermouth pioneer.
Cinzano Prosecco is the Italian sparkling expression of one of the most historic names in the Italian drinks world. The Cinzano family has been crafting aromatic wines and spirits in Piedmont since 1757 — best known for its iconic vermouth, but also producing one of Italy's most accessible and well-loved Prosecco bottlings.
Prosecco is Italy's signature sparkling wine, made primarily from the Glera grape grown across the rolling hills of Veneto and Friuli in the country's north-east. Unlike Champagne, Prosecco is produced using the Charmat method — a second fermentation in pressurised stainless-steel tanks rather than in the bottle — which keeps the wine fresh, fruity and easy-drinking, with bright orchard fruit and floral character.
Tasting Note:
Nose: Crisp green apple, fresh pear, white peach and a hint of orange blossom.
Palate: Light-bodied and lively, with stone fruit, citrus and a clean, dry-but-fruity core. The bubbles are fine and persistent.
Finish: Clean, refreshing and gently floral, with a soft sweetness on the close.
Serving Suggestion: Serve well chilled, ideally between 6–8 °C, in a tulip flute or a small white wine glass to capture the aromatics. Pop, pour, drink — Prosecco is at its best young and fresh, no decanting required.
Cocktail Ideas: Cinzano Prosecco is the engine behind some of the world's most-loved sparkling cocktails. Mix into a classic Aperol Spritz (3 parts Prosecco, 2 parts Aperol, 1 part chilled soda water, ice and an orange slice) or a Bellini (chilled Prosecco topped over fresh white peach purée). Also brilliant in a Mimosa with fresh orange juice, an Hugo Spritz with elderflower syrup and mint, or an Italian Spritz with Campari for something a little more bitter.
Food Pairing: Perfect with antipasti boards, prosciutto-wrapped melon, fresh oysters, fried calamari, sushi, fish and chips, salt-and-pepper squid, sticky Asian-glazed wings, soft cheeses, and lighter chicken and seafood pasta dishes. Equally great as an aperitif before a meal, or as the celebration pour for birthdays, year-end parties and anniversaries.
Occasion: A staple bottle for any home bar — birthdays, brunches, garden lunches, year-end celebrations and impromptu Friday-night spritzes. Cinzano Prosecco is approachable enough for new sparkling drinkers and charming enough for seasoned bubbles fans.
Region: Veneto, Italy.
Alcohol: 11% vol. 750ml.
Whether you're stocking up for a long weekend brunch, mixing a round of Aperol Spritz for friends, or putting together a thoughtful celebration gift, Cinzano Prosecco is a crisp, dependable Italian sparkling that delivers serious bubbles for the price.
