The La Motte Sauvignon Blanc is a benchmark expression of the variety from a celebrated Franschhoek address. Hand-harvested in the cool early morning hours and gently pressed to preserve aromatics, the wine is fermented in stainless steel to keep its bright, focused, lifted character intact.
Tasting Note:
Nose: Lifted gooseberry, granadilla, fresh fig, white grapefruit and a hint of cut grass.
Palate: Crisp and refreshing, with citrus, green pear and tropical fruit balanced by a clean, mineral acidity and a gentle creamy mid-palate.
Finish: Long, dry and gently herbaceous, with a lingering chalky minerality.
